Simple Modern Mesa Loop Review
|
Overview
Simple Modern released their Mesa Loop bottle in 2025, and it's their answer to Owala's popular FreeSip.
This bottle does a lot of things well, including being easy to clean and having a good handle. The grip pad on the bottom, built-in lock, and threaded straw also have their own advantages (though in some cases like the threaded straw, these can come with minor disadvantages, too). The only real downsides to this bottle are that it's a bit bulky for the volume of water that you get, and while the threaded straw helps keep it in place, that does add some tight spaces to clean. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and Simple Modern's Mesa Loop is a very good option if you're looking for a good reusable bottle for everyday use. |

Simple Modern Mesa Loop FAQs
- Are Stanley Flowstate Springs dishwasher safe? | Yes, though the lid should go in the top rack.
- Are Stanley Flowstate Springs leak-proof? | Yes, Flowstate Springs are leak-proof. Just make sure the seals are correctly installed and the lid is completely closed.
- Are Stanley Flowstate Springs worth it? | This can be a good bottle for use around the office or house, and it is easy to clean. However, note the significant drawbacks like the whistling noise before buying.
- Are Stanley Flowstate Springs safe to use? | Everything we've seen indicates that Stanley bottles are safe to use. They are made of food-grade stainless steel and food-safe plastic for the lids and straws. The lead is part of the seal for the vacuum and is not a danger to your health unless your bottle becomes extremely damaged.
- Are Stanley Flowstate Springs BPA-free? | Yes, Stanley bottles are made of stainless steel and food-safe plastic, both of which are BPA-free.
- Are Stanley Flowstate Springs lead-free? | No, Stanley bottles use a lead-based solder to seal the vacuum. The solder is located on the bottom of the bottle, and it is only exposed and potentially dangerous if your bottle has extreme damage (and in that case you probably need a new bottle anyways).

Recommended Accessories
|
Bottle Brush Kit
Recommended for cleaning at least once per week.
This kit includes a large brush to clean in the bottle, a detailing brush to clean the threads and lid, a straw cleaner, and hangers so you can stay organized. |
Cleaning Tablets
Recommended for deep cleaning once per month.
In additional to regular weekly cleaning, deep-cleaning your bottle once per month is usually a good idea to prevent germs and buildup, especially around seals. |
Cup Holder Adapter
Usually needed for bottles over 3" diameter.
Swigzy is one of the better adapters, which includes a twist-to-expand base, extendable base, and ability to offset the top (helps for side-by-side use). |
And Just for Fun (and Better Tasting Water)
|
Fruit Infuser
As a bonus, check out our FlavorFuze Pod drop-in fruit infuser to make your water fun! Skip the soda or flavor pods with artificial sweeteners (like Cirkul) and add healthy flavors with natural fruit each day. The pod is easy to remove when you're done thanks to a big handle on top, making for a healthy mid-day snack.
It comes with two lids. One is a splash-guard style lid that fits in wide mouth Hydro Flasks, and the other is a drop-in style lid that fits in nearly all wide mouth bottles (including Owala FreeSips, YETI Ramblers, Stanley Quenchers, Hydro Flasks, and many more). |
