RevoMax Review
Overview
RevoMax offers a truely novel and innovative approach to water bottles with their threadless bottles and lids. Threads can often be a pain to clean, and it can take a few hands and seconds to unscrew a bottle. RevoMax's design is easy to use with one hand and opens faster so you can quickly take a sip.
It works by pulling up on part of the lid to widen out a flexible section of the lid, which then sets the lid in the neck of the bottle. It feels secure, so we're not worries about the lid coming loose. While it's a very interesting design that has some unique benefits, the lid does have some notable drawbacks so be sure to look at those. But if you're looking for a bottle with excellent insulation that prioritizes taking a sip quickly, this could be a good option to consider. |

RevoMax FAQs
- Are RevoMax bottles dishwasher safe? | No, RevoMax recommends handwashing the bottle. The lid parts are top-rack dishwasher safe. See their FAQ here.
- Are RevoMax bottles safe? | Everything we have seen indicates that RevoMax's bottles are safe, or at least just as safe as other comparable bottles on the market.
- Are RevoMax bottles worth it? | They have a similiar price point as premium brands like Hydro Flask and Owala, so they're not the cheapest option. But if you're looknig for a bottle with great insulation and a lid that lets you take a sip quickly, RevoMax bottles can be good options.
- Are RevoMax bottles easy to clean? | They aren't difficult to clean once you know the steps, but they aren't intuitive at first. Check RevoMax's video.
- Are RevoMax bottles BPA-free? | Yes, RevoMax's bottles are made with BPA-free materials.
- Do RevoMax bottles contain lead? | We have not found an official statement or test that shows whether or not RevoMax uses a lead-based solder. This type of seal is fairly standard across this industry outside of a few notable exceptions like Owala and Hydro Flask. However, even if RevoMax uses a lead-based solder, realistically there is an extremely small probablility that you would ever have an issue with lead unless your bottle was severely damaged, and in that case you would likely need a new bottle anyways because the insulation is probably lost and the bottle would be very dented and wobbly.
- Do RevoMax bottles fit in cupholders? | Yes, the 20oz RevoMax will fit in the majority of cupholders, but be sure to measure yours first to make sure because all cup holders are different. The 32oz RevoMax is too wide to fit in the majority of cupholders. Consider getting an adapter like our BottlePro Max.
