Ozark Trail Review
Overview
Given that Ozark Trail is a Walmart private label, it's no surprise that this bottle is very affordable. In fact, it's cheapest stainless steel bottle with dual-wall vacuum insulation we've seen from a well-known brand.
The surprising thing is how well this bottle compares given the low price. The insulation is above-average, it has a good hinged handle that isn't cumbersome but still lets you hold it comfortably, and it includes a anti-slip grip pad built into the base, which can help prevent scratches and small dents (though notably it does not protect the outside rim). For such a low-priced bottle, we expected it to be noticeably worst in many ways. But that's not what we've found, making this a great all-around, jack-of-all-trades kind of bottle if you're on a budget. |

Ozark Trail FAQs
- Are Ozark Trail bottles dishwasher safe? | Yes, and Ozark Trail recommends putting the lids in the top rack.
- Are Ozark Trail bottles on Amazon? | No. Ozark Trail is a Walmart private label, so they do not sell on Amazon. If you see listings on Amazon, odds are they not from authorized sellers and the listings will be taken down soon.
- Are Ozark Trail bottles safe? | Everything we have seen indicates that Ozark Trail bottles are safe, or at least just as safe as other comparable bottles on the market.
- Are Ozark Trail bottles worth it? | Yes. With such a low price point, it's hard to say this bottle isn't worth the cost.
- Are Ozark Trail bottles BPA-free? | Yes, Ozark Trail's bottles are made with BPA-free materials.
- Do Ozark Trail bottles contain lead? | We have not found an official statement or test that shows whether or not Ozark Trail uses a lead-based solder. This type of seal is fairly standard across this industry outside of a few notable exceptions like Owala and Hydro Flask. However, even if Ozark Trail uses a lead-based solder, realistically there is an extremely small probablility that you would ever have an issue with lead unless your bottle was severely damaged, and in that case you would likely need a new bottle anyways because the insulation is probably lost and the bottle would be very dented and wobbly.
- Do Ozark Trail bottles fit in cupholders? | No, 32oz Ozark Trail bottles are too wide to fit in the majority of cupholders. Consider getting an adapter like our BottlePro Max.
