Overview

Most of the time on this website and our Youtube channel, we're focusing on the bigger name brands like YETI, Stanley, Hydro Flask, and Owala.  But every now and then we try bottle from a lesser-known brand and are pleasantly surprised.  Fjbottle fits in that category with their insulated bottle with a spout lid.

The combination of a rigid handle and a carrying strap makes this bottle much easier to take with you, even if your hands are full.  And the anti-slip grip pad built into the base helps prevent scratches and small dents (though notably it does not protect the outside rim).

Even though it's from a brand you likely have never heard of, if you're looking for an affordable bottle with a spout lid that pretty good at everything, this is a great option to consider.

Why Buy?

• Affordable: These bottles are priced significantly lower than more of the well-known premium brands.
• Built-In Magnets: Two magnets, one in the lid and one in the spout cap, help keep the spout cap out of your face when you're taking a sip.
• Anti-Slip Base: The grip pad built into the base prevents scratches and small dents (though it does not protect the outside rim).
• Carrying Strap: The rigid handle is fairly small, but the carrying strap makes up for this.  It's a low-profile design that's out of the way until you need it, and it's long enough to be convenient to use.​
• Starter Brush Included: While you may want to invest in a more robust cleaning brush like the set we recommend below (under Recommended Accessories), it's helpful that this bottle comes with a brush to get started.
  

Why Avoid?

• Spout Opening is Small: The spout opening could be a little larger.  The current size is small enough to create a gurgling effect when you tilt the bottle up even slightly to take a sip.  It's not a huge deal and in some ways it helps regulate the water flow so you don't get too much, but Camelbak's spout size is more ideal.​

• Are Fjbottles durable? | Yes, to an extent.  Stainless steel is strong, but the bottle will dent if you drop it.  The lid is a fairly simple design that feels robust, particularly with the fairly thick rigid handle.  The most likely place that this bottle may break is at the hinge, though it does not seem to be a major concern unless you drop the bottle on its lid while the spout cap is open.
