Camelbak Chute Mag Review
Overview
Camelbak was one of the early pioneers in modern hydration, releasing their bladder pack when there was nothing else like it on the market. They built on this early innovation by also expanding into the bottle category, and you can find them at stores nationwide.
Their Chute Mag bottles are notable because because there are magnets built into the lid and the spout cap to keep the cap out of your face when you're taking a sip. Other brands like Fjbottle also have magnets like this, but to our knowledge Camebak's was the first. Overall, Camelbak's Chute Mag is a good, reliable bottle from a trusted brand. It doesn't excel at any one thing, but it doesn't suffer from any major issues either. So if you're looking for a good jack-of-all-trades bottle, Camelbak's Chute Mag is worth considering. |

- Do Camelbak bottle fit in cupholders? | Their 32oz bottles will not fit in most cupholders, so consider buying an adapter like our BottlePro Max.
- Are Camelbak bottles leak proof? | Yes, Camelbaks are leak proof as the seals are clean and correctly installed, and the lid and spout cap are closed tightly.
- Are Camelbak bottles easy to clean? | Yes, for the most part. The simple design makes cleaning them straightforward. However, both of the seals (for the lid and the spout cap) are recessed and do not have pull tabs, so you'll need a tool to get them out.
- Are Camelbak bottles insulated? | Yes, though they do have plastic non-insulated options too so make sure you buy from the correct listing.
- Are Camelbak bottles stainless steel? | Yes, though they do have plastic options as well so make sure you buy from the correct listing.
- Are Camelbak bottles durable? | Yes, to an extent. Stainless steel is strong, but the bottle will dent if you drop it. The lid is a fairly simple design that feels robust, but the plastic hinge is the most likely thing to break over the long term.
