Notes from the Road - Week 6

Last week was all wet - from oceans, rainforests, and all around humidity.

We started off the week with a trip to the Hoh Rainforest and Hall of Mosses trail, where everything was dripping with moss.

Just  for the fun of it, we decided to go to Cape Flattery, which is billed as the most northwestern point in the Continental U.S. We both thought that it would be a touristy "see-it-from-the-parking-lot" kind of thing, but it was actually a nice little hike with a gorgeous view at the end. We both agreed that it was one of the highlights of the week.

We paid a visit to Rialto Beach and had some fun in the tidepools there...

And went to Second Beach for sunrise, where we encountered a group of sea otters enjoying crab for breakfast.

We're hanging out in Sequim for a couple of days to dry out a bit before continuing on.
